Can you fix my turntable?

We would be happy to take a look! Many record players are very serviceable and can be restored to their former glory. We have many needles, belts, idlers and other parts on hand but some parts are getting harder to find for certain models. You can drop off your turntable any time during business hours and we’ll get it in queue. Our technician is typically here Monday - Friday until about 5 PM if you need to speak with him directly.

What about my reciever or speakers?

We recommend our friends over at the Circuit Shop for all speaker repairs. They’ve been in business since 1976 and can almost certainly get your speakers rocking again!

Teerman’s in Holland, MI closed their doors back in August 2021, but their technician is continuing service on amplifiers, receivers and many other consumer electronics from his home! Reach out to Mark at 616-510-1353 to see if he can help.

Do you repair console record players? What about antique players?

We can service many older console record changers. Keep in mind that the older stacking record changers can be very costly to fix, mainly because of the availability of parts. If the player has sentimental value to you we’d be happy to take a look at it and see what we can do to get it running smoothly. However, many repairs on these units will exceed their value and it can be more cost effective to update to a (relatively) modern setup to play your records. Unfortunately we cannot do house calls on these units and we do not have the space to house the entire console in our shop - the record changer will need to be removed from the unit in order for us to perform service.

Antique record players such as Victrolas, Edison wax cylinder players and the like are best brought to Great Lakes Antique Phonograph in Bitley, MI.
